The Antwerp Christmas Market will continue from the 8th of December 2023 until the 7th of January 2024.
Winter scenes, beautiful nativity scenes, twinkling lights and moody Christmas music will transform the centre of Antwerp into one big Christmas market.
Our Christmas market is one of the largest Christmas markets in Belgium. It runs continuously from the Groenplaats, over the Grote Markt all the way to the Scheldt quays. This year, some additional squares were added, such as Opera Square and Hendrik Conscience Square.
You can wander for hours among the numerous stalls, taste local specialties, drink the most delicious mulled wine or go ice-skating on the ice rink that covers no less than 1,200 square meters.
The observation wheel will be on Astridplein this year and the end-of-year fireworks will take place on the Scheldt, off the renewed Scheldt quays at the South.
